Jailbreak iPod touch fix? please help me especially Tyler Schoulte?

I highly doubt it. I bet when he took off the screen, that there were more problems with it, because why would someone take off the screen because of a crack. If I had a crack, I would leave it because I wouldn't want to make things worse, but if the home and screen was broken, then I might take it in to get fixed. If this person is a dumb@ss like you said, then he would try to fix them both by himself. So I don't think it would work to fix the screen, because he probably broke the home button when he dropped it. Plus you don't know what part of the home button needs fixing(if he pulled out wires, damaged circuit board, or broke the actuall button). So if I were you, I would take it in to get professionally repaired, but fortunately, the unjailbreak I gave you will not show up, so you can take it to apple. You can try to repair it, but you don't know what your "friend" tampered with also, so a professional would beable to diagnose all those problems for an additional fee. Your other options are not use the home button and have a cracked and smeared screen, or put it on eBay for parts or repair. Those are your four options, and I hope you get your problem fixed! :)
