How do i setup windows vista fingerprint reader?

Well i have a 3 or 4 year old school laptop and i think the school that had it removed the fingerprint scanner software so i can't use it. I've looked in control panel for any setup guides but there is nothing there. My laptop is a hp 6710b if that helps and has a built in fingerprint scanner. Can anyone give me any links to download the drivers or program i need to run it. Or any information at all. Thanks.
